Remember when 15 Wallaby players were stood down during the European tour for deciding to have too much fun?
Well so do, Dennis, Robinson, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Paddy Ryan, Kane Douglas, Bernard Foley and Nick Phipps.
Rumours have been circulating all week that they blame Brumbies captain Ben Mowen for dobbing them in to Wallabies management in Dublin. And apparently they aren't too happy with him.
I can't see why, as a leader it's his duty to do things that are best for the team. It's not like he chose playing in Europe over captaining his country............
No Waratah has been willing to publicly confirm these rumours, but usually there isn't a fire without some smoke.
Mowen on the other hand has completely denied the claims,
"That's not part of who I am. I've no problem with you asking the question because I don't do that sort of stuff."
It certainly provides an interesting side story to follow this week, and how the Waratahs feel about Mowen should be made obvious quite early in the game.
So what do you think, did Mowen do it? And if so was he in the right?
