Young back-rower Jack Dempsey has replaced veteran Wycliff Palu for the NSW Waratahs' crucial Super Rugby game against the Blues in Auckland on Friday.

Palu drops to the bench, with Dempsey coming in at blindside flanker with Dean Mumm switching from that position to the second-row and Dave Dennis moving from lock to No.8.
